Once again, Hasbro shoots and misses, but gets points for trying. I remember at some Toyfair or convention a few months ago, some Hasbro rep, when asked if we would be deluged again with wacky variants, went on record as saying that Batman fans had much to look forward to in the way of canon designs. I guess the Fire-Brigade Batman was what he meant. True, this particular figure is silver with a big fire hatchet, but his head is sculpted to represent the old-school gas-mask Bats would whip out in smelly situations.
