Welcome to Inanimate Objects, the on-line showcase of custom figure creations by Casimir.

It's time for another painting! This time it's Kara In-Ze, last daughter of Argo, otherwise known as Supergirl. Click here to see the full image, and to download your own printable copy.
I am honored and humbled to have been selected as Custom Justice's Customizer of the Month for January 2010. Thank you, folks! That's extremely generous of you.

Is this possible? A second update in less than a month? Talk about getting the new year started right! For your enjoyment, I present Captain Boomerang, Officer Shayera Hol, and a squad of Thanagarian soldiers. Happy new year, folks!

Merry Christmas, y'all! It's time for an update to the site.

First, you'll see a new section has been added to the Customs categories: Art. Here you'll find projects that tend to be 2-dimensional in nature, rather than the usual customized figures. For this inaugural event, I present to you my 3' x 4' painting of Harley and Batgirl, as well as a complete 2010 calendar of the DC animated universe. (You can download and print your own copy to print!)

Figure-wise, you'll find my rendition of Glassman's Jimmy Olsen, Abin Sur, Evil Star, and my friends Richard and Chris at their wedding.

Finally, I wanted to premiere an exciting custom (well, exciting to me, anyway) given to me by the outrageously amazing Tyke! Yes, it's Casimir as a Ghostbuster, a lifelong dream come true. Click on the thumbnails below to see me in all my ectoplasmic glory! Thanks, Tyke!

It's time once again to take a tour of Casimir's and the Violist's shelves. See what's currently on display! There are lots of customs and rare pieces throughout. See what you can spot!

And don't foret the many great deals still available in the store. And Inanimate Objects is now on Facebook!

Once again it's time to share the plastic. The Violist and I are making room on our shelves, and that means offering collectibles to you at dirt cheap prices. If you're interesting in bolstering your collections of DC figures, Buffy figures, or even DVDs (Transformers and G.I.Joe, specifically), you owe it to yourself to visit the Inanimate Objects store now!

In other news, Inanimate Objects is now on Facebook. Feel free to join in!

Given Mattel's recent announcement of an SDCC set featuring Hal Jordan, interest in the most popular ring slinger is on the rise again. (Or simply had fuel thrown on a contentious fire. You decide.) I've been getting a lot of requests for information on how to obtain a casting of a Mattel Hal head. Well here's what I recommend. My pals Glassman, Spy Magician and Crushinaguy are currently making a limited number of excellent castings. Glassman's is based on his custom sculpt (an excellent likeness of the Mattel version), while Spy and Crushinaguy are offering a well-rendered casting of an original Mattel head. All are gentlemen and customizers of the highest caliber. Drop them a line. They might be able to help.
